AIUB Alumni Society (AIUBAlumS)
AIUB Alumni Society is an association of American International University-Bangladesh Alumni.
AIUB Alumni Society (AIUBAlumS)” is an independent registered society under the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies & Firms (under Act XXI of 1860) of the People’s republic of Bangladesh. This Society is a non-political, non-profit making and social service Society, managed and operated by the voluntary members from AIUB Alumni only. The society is grateful to AIUB authority for providing temporary office space at 408/1, Kuratoli, Khilkhet, Dhaka 1229, Bangladesh.
Objectives
The objectives of the Society are to build an active communication network among all the present and alumni of AIUB, through various socio-cultural and academic programs and to contribute to the development of AIUB and the socio-economic development of the country through the dissemination of new concepts in the relevant field.
Goals
To build relationships among the members of the Society through educational, cultural, social, and welfare programs.
To help foster a global perspective in teaching-learning of AIUB and prepare students and alumni for the global job market.
To unite the members of the Society in the bonds of friendship, fellowship, and mutual understanding through arranging reunions, picnics, tours, sports, etc.
To encourage efficiency and promote high ethical standards amongst the Society’s members.
To establish liaison with other similar Societies at home and abroad and exchange views and ideas and to take up various projects jointly and arrange exchange programs.
Functions
To arrange programs for existing and new educators and professionals and for the new graduates and to take various training programs for the benefit of the unemployed members of the Society.
To arrange reunions and other events to facilitate interaction among alumni/members of the Society.
To publish magazines and/or newsletters for the publicity and dissemination of information about Society.
To take strong steps for literary and cultural developments of AIUB, and the Society.
To offer a stipend, scholarship, and fellowship in order to broaden the ways of higher education for the poor and meritorious students.
To formulate policies and necessary by-laws for proper operation and management of the Society, which should be approved by the Management of AIUB.
